Robert O. Fein's Obituary
Robert O. Fein, age 83, of Amherst, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Amherst Manor following a short illness.
He was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of Amherst since August 2014 moving from Holiday, Florida. He previously had lived in North Ridgeville for many years and North Olmsted.
Robert served in the US Army during the Korean War.
He worked as a terminal manager for Marlux Company for 7 years, retiring in 1992. He previously worked for Alchemtrom and Sherwin Williams in Cleveland.
He was a member of St. Peter Church in North Ridgeville and Teamsters Union Local 407.
He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his son, Robert of Medina; daughters, Debra (John) Fein-Krantz of Richmond Hts., Patty (Kevin) Leuszler of Amherst Twp., Michelle (David) Fairley of Amherst Twp.; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandsons; brother, Ronald Fein of Avon; sister, Dolores Spansky of Cuyahoga Falls; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Constance in 2004; 2nd wife, Lillian Krempa-Fein in 2014; brother, Richard; parents, Otto and Elizabeth Fein.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-5PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. A prayer service will be held on Monday at 9:30AM in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00AM Mass at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Bob Franco, Pastor, will be the celebrant.
Entombment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Avon where North Ridgeville VFW Post 9871 will conduct Military Honors.
