Robert J. DeBalzo's Obituary
Robert J. DeBalzo, age 82, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 peacefully at his home. He was born on June 29, 1936 in Cleveland and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 47 years, moving from Cleveland. He worked in security for Diebold Inc and Mercy Hospital in Lorain. Robert was an active member of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church in North Ridgeville and enjoyed playing golf and working around the house. He is survived by his daughters Barbara Price of Elyria, Laura DeBalzo of North Ridgeville; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; sister Helen Irene (William) Green of Westlake. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Joan; son Robert; parents Samuel and Helen DeBalzo; brother Samuel DeBalzo; sister-in-law Esther DeBalzo; son- in- law Eddie Price. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 10AM at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Andrew Hoover will be the celebrant. Burial will follow at St Peter Cemetery.
