Robert D. "Bob" Perry's Obituary
Robert D. “Bob” Perry, age 64, of Grafton, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at University Hospital Elyria Medical Center.
He was born in Lorain and had been a resident of Grafton for 26 years, moving from Elyria.
He worked as a grounds foreman for Elyria City Schools, retiring in 2012.
Bob enjoyed playing cards, Rock and Roll music, canoeing and taking Sunday drives.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Diane (nee Morris); children, Joshua of Grafton, Rachel (Richard) Ward of West Palm Beach, Florida, Seth (Shannon) of Elyria; grandchildren, Allison, Isaac, Haydn and Travis Perry, and Killian Ward; sisters, Lynda Perry, Debbie Nichols, Cindy (Reto) Knittel, Pam (Alan) Smith; brothers, Daniel (Sue) Perry, Timothy Perry; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Magdalene (nee Olah) Perry.
Friends may call Friday from 6PM until the time of Memorial Service at 8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lorain County Metro Parks, 12882 Diagonal Rd., LaGrange, OH 44050.
