Robert Elmer Clark's Obituary
Robert Elmer Clark, age 80, of Grafton, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2021, at the University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center surrounded by his family.
He was born on January 26, 1941, in Huntington, West Virginia and has been a resident of Grafton since 1963. Robert worked as a maintenance foreman at Moen, retiring in 2001. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of the First Baptist Church in Elyria, where he sang in the gospel choir.
In his free time, Robert was a pilot, a car enthusiast and enjoyed motorcycle riding. He was also fond of working on old radios, but nothing brought him more happiness than spending time with his family and his dog Misty.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Alice Fay (nee Kipp); son Russell (Cathy) Clark of Medina; daughter Cindy (Mark) Kleister of Greenwich; grandchildren Ashley, Kayla, Garrett, Marshall, Kayla, and Miranda; 8 great grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents Weldon and Vivian (nee Meadows) Clark; sister Ramona.
Graveside Service with Full Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, June 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Nesbett Cemetery in Grafton. Rev. Josh Butler will officiate.
