Robert E. Chikik Sr.'s Obituary
Robert E. Chikik Sr., age 87, of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born February 6, 1937 in Cleveland and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 18 years. Robert worked as a plumber for Neptune plumbing before retiring in 1999. He was also a member of the Local 55 Plumbers Union.
Robert enjoyed in his garden, traveling to Las Vegas, reading, going to work “to feed his baby birds,” and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his sons Robert Jr. of Westlake and Curt (Tammy) Chikik of North Royalton; daughters Pam (Brian) Kelly of Avon and Tracy Lucille Scott of North Ridgeville, grandchildren; Sean (Katie), Neil, Sarah, Tarra (Rick), Curt Jeffery (Miranda), Chandler (Ben) Don, and Matt, great grandchildren; Tyler, Henry, Savannah, Olive, Charlie; and sister Vivian (Roger) Kuty of North Ridgeville.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife Patricia, parents Helen (nee Curylo) and John Chikik, and brother John Jr.
A memorial service will be held 6 PM Tuesday April 16, 2024 at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd. N. Ridgeville where the family will receive friends from 4-6 PM. Chaplin Dan Johnson will officiate.
The family wishes to express their appreciation Cypress Hospice for the loving care given to Bob.
