Robert J. Bryer's Obituary
Robert J. Bryer, age 83, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 60 years, moving from Fairview Park.
Robert worked as an auto mechanic for SOHIO service station in Bay Village, retiring in 1988 after 40 years. He then went on to work part time at Giant Eagle in North Ridgeville.
He enjoyed coaching city baseball, bowling, playing cards and being with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Beverly; daughters, Jodi Seitz of Elyria, Terry (John) Jackson of North Ridgeville, Barbara Grencewicz of Independence; sons, Robert (Sharon) Bryer Jr. of Cincinnati, Richard (Neida) Bryer of Lorain; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and sister, Phyllis (Ed) Jerdonek of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Rachel Bryer; parents, John and Lenore (nee Carroll) Bryer; brother, John; sisters, Lenore, Janet and Carol.
The family will receive friends Friday, August 2, 2019 at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville, from 7 PM until the time of memorial service at 8 PM. Minister Billy Tyson will officiate.
Private interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
