Robert Bristow's Obituary
Robert J. Bristow, age 60, of Elyria, passed away at his home Monday, November 26, 2007, following a long illness. He was born in Crab Orchard, Tennessee and had been a resident of Elyria for the past 8 years moving from North Ridgeville. Mr. Bristow served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked as a salesman for Budget Auto Parts in Lorain. Robert enjoyed woodworking, target shooting and turkey shoots.
He was a member of the VFW Elyria Post and the National Rifle Association.
Survivors include his wife, Linda (nee Block); daughter, Kerrie Bristow of Phoenix, Arizona; step-sons, Dennis Hughes Jr. of Elyria, Matthew (Christine) Hughes of Sheffield Lake; brothers, Thomas (Lora) Bristow of Sheffield Lake, Richard (Debbie) Bristow of Elyria; sisters, Sandra Sopko of North Ridgeville, Kelley (Doug) Kommersmith of Elyria; grandson, Aaron Bristow; step-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Matthew Jr. and Bradley Hughes. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Ruth (nee Hill) Bristow.
Friends may call Thursday from 7-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Burial will be at a later date at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
