Robert "Bob" D. Frank's Obituary
Robert D. "Bob" Frank, age 63, of North Ridgeville passed away peacefully Tuesday Feb. 21, 2023 at his home following a 3 year battle with cancer.
He was born in Elyria and was a lifelong resident of North Ridgeville. He received a BSN from Akron University and went on to work the past 36 years for MetroHealth as a RN including Metro Life Flight and more recently in Clinical Informatics.
Being a very faithful person, he was an active member of St Peter Church, where he was a Eucharistic Minister and had previously played the organ. He enjoyed traveling and was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians Fan.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years Donna J. (nee Dyer), son Robert II, mother Janet Frank, brother Michael Frank, brother-in-law of Eric (Terry) Buterbaugh all of North Ridgeville and Doug (Julia) Dyer of Lilburn, GA, four nieces, one nephew, one great niece and one great nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father Donald in 2019 and his sister Cynthia Buterbaugh in 2000.
The family will receive friends Friday Feb. 24 from 4-7 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held 9 AM Saturday followed by 9:30 AM Mass at St. Peter Church 35777 Center Ridge Rd. N. Ridgeville. Rev. Bob Franco will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Peter Building on the Rock Campaign, www.stpeternr.org, www.hospicewr.org, or www.stjude.org
