Robert Blasik's Obituary
Robert J. Blasik, Sr., age 62, of North Ridgeville died on Wednesday morning at his home following a sudden illness.
He was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of North Ridgeville the past 34 years; having moved from Cleveland.
He worked as a millwright for LTV Steel, Cleveland 37 ? years and retired in 2001.
Mr. Blasik enjoyed collecting antiques, fishing and flee markets.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Rose C. (Nee Schutt) Blasik; daughter, Michele (Doug) Campbell, of Sullivan, OH; sons, Robert J. Blasik, Jr. and Mark M. Blasik, both of North Ridgeville; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Justine (nee Solar) Blasik, Sr.
Friends may call Friday from 7-9 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville; where prayers will be said on Saturday at 9:30 AM.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM at Saint Julie Billiart Catholic Church,5500 Lear Nagle Road, North Ridgeville. Reverend Doctor Richard Gonser, pastor, will officiate.Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brookpark.
