Rita D. Zarrelli's Obituary
Rita D. Zarrelli (nee Durand), age 92, of Avon Lake, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022 at the Wesleyan Village in Elyria. She was born in Canonsburg and had been a resident of Avon Lake from 2014-2021. She had also lived in Cleveland and Avon. Rita enjoyed cooking and baking.
Survivors include her sons, David (Theresa) Zarrelli of North Ridgeville, Daniel (Susan) Zarrelli of Sheffield Lake, Dennis (Karen) Zarrelli of Charlotte, North Carolina, 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Donato, former husband, Patsy Zarrelli, parents, August and Dorothy (nee Karmann) Durand, brother, Edward Durand.
Friends may call on Thursday July 21, 2022 from 8:30am until the time of prayer service at 9:30am at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd. North Ridgeville, OH 44039. A funeral mass will follow at 10am at St. Peter Church 35777 Center Ridge Rd. North Ridgeville. Fr. Bob Franco, Pastor will be the celebrant. Services will be livestreamed at Saint Peter Catholic Church Facebook page or at he church's website www.stpeternr.org
Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
