Rita Vrtachnik's Obituary
Rita P. Vrtachnik (nee Krisch), age 84, of North Ridgeville, passed away Friday at Fairview Hospital following a short illness.
She was born in Evansville, Indiana and had been a resident of Fairview from 1990 until moving to North Ridgeville this past February. She had previously lived in Cleveland.
Mrs. Vrtachnik was a member of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, North Ridgeville and enjoyed crocheting and knitting.
Survivors include her sons John of North Ridgeville, David of Livonia, Michigan; daughters Mary Ann Jirousek of North Ridgeville, Dolores Bott of North Olmsted; 9 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband John in 1964; daughter Lyola Vrtachnik; brother Charles Krisch, sister Margaret Kramer and her parents Charles and Mary (nee Reeb) Krisch.
Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where prayer services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 AM followed by 10:00 AM Mass at St Clarence Catholic Church, North Olmsted, Reverend Neil P. Kookoothe, Pastor will be the celebrant. Private burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
