Richard D. "David" Vidovich's Obituary
Richard D. “David” Vidovich, age 66, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake.
He was born in Beckley, West Virginia. Grew up in Columbia Station and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 25 years moving from North Olmsted.
A graduate of Columbia High School Class of 1971.
He worked as a welder for Ford Motor Company, retiring in 2001 after 30 years.
He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 1250.
David enjoyed playing the guitar with his brothers and friends, watching Western movies, reading and working puzzles. He loved animals and had a pet racoon and crow.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Faith (nee Abraham) McNamara-Vidovich; son, John David and David Jeremy; daughter, Jennifer Lynn Bogert all of Florida; stepson, John (Denise) McNamara of Cleveland, Jim (Michelle) McNamara of North Ridgeville, Pete (Ellie) McNamara of Amherst, Tom (Janice) McNamara of North Ridgeville; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul (Kitty) Vidovich of South Carolina, Nicholas Vidovich of Olmsted Falls; sisters, Laura (Dennis) Card of Virginia, Krista (Bob) Kleinhenz of Columbia Station.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Catherine (nee Lamb) Vidovich and infant grandson, Christian David Vidovich.
A private graveside service will be held at St. Peter Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
