Richard Valentine's Obituary
Richard Valentine, 72 of North Ridgeville passed away Saturday, January 1, 2011 at St. John Medical Center, Westlake following a brief illness. He was born May 5, 1938 in Cleveland, OH and had resided in North Ridgeville for the past 40 years. He had worked as a tester for TRW, Cleveland retiring in 1990. Richard was an avid Cleveland Browns, Indians and Cavs fan and enjoyed listening to music, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Florence (nee Hartman), 6 sons, Richard (Lynda) and Steven (Charity) both of Westlake, Robert and Joseph (Debbie) both of North Ridgeville, Dennis of Sheffield Lake and Michael of Grafton, a daughter, Laura Quillin of Elyria Twp., 21 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Lillian (Durdowski) and Richard Valentine. Friends may call from 5-8 P.M. Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville where services will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday, January 5, 2011. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Garden, Avon.
