Richard S. Terlaak's Obituary
Richard Scott Terlaak, of North Ridgeville; born October 9, 1954 in Cleveland, Ohio. Beloved son of John and Henrietta Terlaak of Olmsted Falls, OH, big brother of Debra (Rock) Browning of Logan, WV, Dennis Terlaak of North Ridgeville, OH, and Renée (Greg) Young of Belton, TX. Spirited uncle of Daniel and Randall Browning, Dennis Terlaak, Jr, and Bailey Young. A graduate of West Technical High School, class of 1974, Richard entered the U.S. Air Force where he served as an Aircraft Refueler with duty in Okinawa, Japan, among other assignments until 1978. Richard ultimately settled in North Ridgeville, Ohio and worked for Alcoa. He was a motorcycle enthusiast who enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson Softail and was known for brilliant shenanigans and great humor.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 6 pm until the time of Memorial Service at 8 pm at Bogner Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Private family inurnment will be at Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Olmsted Falls. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Friendship APL, 8303 Murray Ridge Rd, Elyria, OH 44035.
