Richard P. Sycz's Obituary
Richard P. Sycz, age 79, of North Ridgeville, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1977. He was a factory worker for Sherwin Williams and Ashland Chemical before retiring in 2010. He was a member of St. Peter Church and the Knights of Columbus. Richard enjoyed cars and car shows. He is survived by his sons Duane of North Ridgeville, Gary (Maria) of North Ridgeville, Roger and Randy of North Ridgeville; grandchildren Michael, Audrianna, Nicholas, Austin, Olivia, Tyler, RJ; great-grandson CJ; sisters Darlene, Hope (Dale); brothers Laddie (Terri), Dale (Rena); many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Sandra in 2011; parents Peter Sycz. Helen and James Pepke; brothers Russell, Gene. Respecting social distancing and the wearing of masks, family will receive friends Friday, March 19, 2021 from 5-8 pm at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville, where a prayer service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 am. Mass of Christian burial will follow at St. Peter Catholic Church. Rev Bob Franco will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery.
