Richard "Rick" P. Kobel's Obituary
Richard “Rick” P. Kobel, 70, died peacefully on November 11, 2025. He was born May 7, 1955 in
Stillwater, Oklahoma to the late Bill and Eleanor Kobel (nee Gruber).
Rick also resided in Parsons, Kansas, Berea and North Ridgeville, Ohio, and most recently,
Livonia, Michigan. He was a proud 1973 graduate of Berea High School, avid reader, swimmer,
excellent speller, fan of NFL football, jigsaw puzzle enthusiast, and loved being with family.
He is survived by his brother, Robert (Karen) Kobel; sisters, Brenda (Ben) Norton and Kathryn
Kobel; Proud Uncle to Erik, Ryan, William, and Laura Kobel; Gretchen, Katie, and Benjy Norton;
and other relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North
Ridgeville, on Friday, November 21, 2025 from 9 A.M. until the time of funeral service at 10
A.M. The Reverend Dr. Tom Joyce will officiate. A private family only interment will occur at
Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
