Richard Miller's Obituary
Richard C. Miller, age 82, of North Ridgeville, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at his home.
He was born in Geneva and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1970 moving from Olmsted Falls.
He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War.
Richard worked for Cleveland LTV Steel and retired in 1995.
He was an avid sports fan and was a longtime supporter and coach for the Hotstove Baseball League. He loved to read, enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his grandsons.
He was a member of the VFW Post 9871 in North Ridgeville.
Survivors include his sons, Blaise (Tammy) and Erik (Tricia) Miller, both of North Ridgeville; grandsons, Trent and Drew; sisters, Gail Miller Lenuson of Pennsylvania, Karran Miller Shatto of Geneva on the Lake; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Claire in 1988 and parents, George and Emma Miller.
Friends may call Monday from 6:30 until the time of Military Services at 8:30 PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North Ridgeville Baseball League, 38038 Pebble Lake Trail, North Ridgeville, OH 44039.
