Richard W. Miller's Obituary
Richard W. Miller, age 76, of Columbia Station, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at his home.
He was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of Columbia Station for the past 20 years, moving from North Olmsted.
Mr. Miller served in the US Marine Corp from 1955-1958.
He retired with the rank of Lieutenant from the Cleveland Fire Department, Engine 23, where he worked for 31 years before retiring in 1992.
He enjoyed playing cards, boating, fishing and hunting with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Betty; sons, Rick (Joan) Miller of North Ridgeville, Robert (Jenny) Miller of Garfield Hts., Scott Miller of Suffolk, Virginia; daughters, Kathy (Dennis) Arquette of Denver, Colorado; Dianna (Art) Kay of Tucson, Arizona, Christine (Scott) Henderson of Suffolk, Virginia; 17 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ron (Alicia) Miller of South Carolina, Glenn (Mary Beth) Miller of Parma; nieces, Lori and Amber; nephew, Richie.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Iammarino; sister, Judy Miller; parents, Richard E. and Anna Marie Miller.
Friends may call Thursday from 5-8 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Friday at 11 AM in the funeral home. Pastor Jim Garber will officiate.
Burial will be in Royalton Road Cemetery, Columbia Station.
