Richard Forgues' Obituary
Richard Forgues, age 64, of Barberton, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2015 in Penfield Twp., due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. His wife, Rhonda passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Metro Health Medical Center from injuries that she sustained in the accident.
He was born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts and lived most of his life in Elyria. He had been a resident of Barberton for the past 9 months moving from Wellington.
Richard worked as a roofer in construction.
He enjoyed his pet dogs, Spike and Deisel.
Survivors include his son, Jonathan Forgues of Barberton; daughters Jessie Forgues of Elyria, Andrea Kistner of Lorain, Stevie Lyn and Celeste; grandchildren, Ciarra Thompson, Summer Forgues and four other grandchildren; mother, Lara “Bobby” Woodard of Elyria; sisters, Barbara Moore of Wellington, Debra (Jim) Bearden of West Virginia and brother, Rick Forgues of North Canton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Forgues; brother Bill Forgues; niece, Amanda Heath and brother-in-law, Bill Moore.
A Graveside service will be held on Monday at 2PM at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 3700 Center Rd. in Avon. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate.
