Richard L. Farsetti's Obituary
Richard L. Farsetti, age 79, of Elyria, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at his home surrounded by family.
He was born in Lorain, where he had lived before moving to Elyria two years ago.
Richard served in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion Post in Lorain.
He worked for Columbia Gas for 30 years and Lorain County Water Authority before he retired.
Richard was a baseball fan, especially of the Guardians, and enjoyed playing poker and spending time with his family watching Walker Texas Ranger.
Survivors include his daughters, Kimberly ( Bruce) Swick, Jennifer (Jeromie) Arch, Katherine (Christopher) Marquardt, sons, Richard Farsetti Jr., John (Jessica) Farsetti, Angel “Joe” Roldan, grandchildren, Gabriel, Giovanni, Gianna, Ayden, Oliver and Tyler.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores in 2022, parents, Louis and Dorothy (nee Schmidt), daughter, Kelly, and brothers and sisters.
Friends may call Friday from 4-7PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Saturday at 10:45AM in the funeral home. Rev. Alan Jenkins will officiate.
Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon with full Military Honors.
