Richard A. "Rich" Diederich's Obituary
Richard A. “Rich” Diederich, age 76 of North Ridgeville, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at University Hospital Elyria Medical Center.
He was born in Elyria and lived all his life in North Ridgeville.
Rich served in the National Guard and worked as a boiler inspector for CEI for many years, retiring in 2002.
He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville and enjoyed hunting, fishing and tinkering around his property in Spencer. Richard was a blood and organ donor.
Richard is survived by his brother, Raymond (Lorraine) of North Ridgeville; sisters, Rita Pullen of Elyria, Carol Moran of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Paula (Dave) Pierce of North Ridgeville; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Josephine (nee Kreibel) Diederich; brother, Alan (Sue) and sister, Norma Rofe.
At Richard’s request, there will be no visitation.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday at 10AM at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Rev. Bob Franco will be the celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Richard’s name to the charity of your choosing.
