Renee Decker's Obituary
Renee M. Decker (nee Baumbich), age 48, of Elyria, passed away suddenly at EMH Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, October 12, 2011.
She was born in Cleveland, and grew up in North Ridgeville before moving to Elyria, where she has lived for the past 22 years.
Renee was a member of the Singing Angels youth chorus from 1971 to 1981 and enjoyed musical Theater. This passion led her to serve as a board member of the Olde Towne Hall Theatre in North Ridgeville, but her greatest joy was found in spending time with her husband and three children.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Harry; daughters Stephanie and Melissa; son Thomas; parents Raymond and Deborah (nee Thomas) Baumbich of North Ridgeville; brother Raymond (Linda) Baumbich of Alameda, CA; nieces Devon of Parma, Jaimie of Oregon, Ashley of CA and nephew Matthew of Lorain.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-6 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held on Monday at 9:30 AM. A 10 AM Mass will follow at St. Jude Catholic Church, 590 Poplar St., Elyria. Rev. Frank Kosem, Pastor, will be the Celebrant. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Cleveland.
