Renate Coleman's Obituary
Renate J. “Renee” Coleman (nee Jager), age 74, of North Ridgeville, passed away Monday, June 27, 2011 at the Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain following a long illness.
She was born in Heilbronn, Germany and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for 45 years. She previously had lived in Cleveland and Maryland.
Renee was a member of the Heights Damenchor Choir for over 25 years and a proud US citizen since 1967. She was also a very proud Oma and great Oma.
Survivors include her children, Lee (Greta) Coleman, Brenda May all of North Ridgeville, Jerry (Becky) Coleman of Brunswick, Kelly Tran of Elyria; and was a 2nd mother to Wesley “Tiny” Kinter; grandchildren, Wesley (Lisa) Coleman, Kurt (Kelli) Coleman, Jennifer Coleman (fiancé, Michael Bahun), Renee (James) Wiseman, Jason May, Taylor Tran; great-grandchildren, Chase, Carter, Karissa, Elijah and Reed Coleman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Coleman; sister, Annalorie Dechant; and parents, Otto and Elsa Jager.
Friends may call Thursday from 4:00 PM until the time of services at 7:30 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Joe Torres will officiate.
Private family burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
