Reinhardt Duane Essenburg's Obituary
Reinhardt Duane Essenburg, age 68, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake.
He was born in Yale, Michigan and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 2012. He previously lived in Fairview and Cleveland’s westside.
Reinhardt worked as an over the road truck driver for many years, retiring in 2005.
He was a member of Fields United Methodist Church in North Ridgeville.
He enjoyed camping, traveling, especially out west, fishing, cooking and repairing cars and trucks.
Beloved husband of Adrienne, loving father of Brian (Melissa) Essenburg of Brooklyn, Jason (Kaleena) Essenburg of Cleveland, Kimberly Essenburg of Cleveland, Zach Wood of North Ridgeville, Sam Wood of Lakewood, doting grandfather of Michael, Emily, Kaley, Jason, Lacey, Bree, Brian, Chase and Zoey, loving brother of Susan (Earl) Gott of North Royalton and uncle of many nieces, nephews, great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Duane and Elizabeth (nee Lotz) Essenburg, grandson, Aiden, brothers, David, Robert, Wolfgang and Gerhardt Essenburg and sister, Veronica.
Friends may call Saturday from 10AM until the time of Memorial Service at 11AM at Fields United Methodist Church, 34077 Lorain Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev. Dr. Tom Joyce, Pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be held on Monday at 10:30AM at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brookpark.
