Raymond A. Thomas' Obituary
Raymond A. “Ray” Thomas, age 64, of Sheffield Lake passed away Saturday February 2, 2019 at Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital following a long illness.
He was born in Cleveland and had resided in Sheffield Lake the past 20 years after moving from Elyria.
Ray was as a Mill Wright with Local 1871 working in several local manufacturing plants until retiring in 2004.
He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and going on bike runs with friends.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Carol (nee Maley), step daughter Kim (Josh Elswick) Cosentino of North Ridgeville, stepsons, Jerry Cosentino of Elyria, Brian (Cecelia Vanacore) Cosentino of Semi Valley, CA, four grandchildren, mother, Louise Dunn and stepfather John Dunn of Brooklyn, brothers, Mike Thomas of Cleveland, John (Peggy) Dunn of Cleveland, Steve Dunn of Brooklyn and sister Debbie Dunn of Brooklyn.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Kelly Thomas, father, Michael C. Thomas, and brother Bob Thomas.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville where services will be held 12:30 PM Wednesday. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
