Raymond E. Minnich's Obituary
Raymond E. Minnich, age 72, of Elyria passed away Tuesday February 13, 2024 at O’Neill Healthcare, North Ridgeville.
Born in Elyria, he grew up in North Ridgeville and had resided in Elyria most of his life.
He worked as a heat treater for Zion Industries in Valley City.
He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, racing cars and searching for treasures at flea markets.
Ray was a member of AMVETS Post 32, Elyria.
Survivors include his brothers, Robert of Lorain, Paul of Ashland, Michael Minnich with whom he made his home in Elyria and sister Jean Marie Kimmel of Port Clinton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Ethel Minnich, his stepmother Susan Sapp, and companion of many years Shirley Szakal.
