Raymond H. Kleinsmith's Obituary
Raymond H. Kleinsmith, age 77, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2019 at his home.
He was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 41 years, moving from Cleveland.
He served in the US Army from 1960-1963.
Raymond worked as a truck driver for 50 years at Vitran Express in Brookpark, retiring in 2007.
He enjoyed woodworking, making furniture for family and friends, golfing and fishing.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Mary (nee Linda) Kleinsmith; son, Daniel Kleinsmith of North Ridgeville; daughter, Doreen (Jason) Armbruster of Lorain; daughter-in-law, Robin Kleinsmith of Strongsville; grandchildren, Amanda, Kevin, Megan, Brooke, Jake, Frank and Nick; brothers, Harold of Ashtabula, Leo of Cleveland and Nick of Ashland.
He was preceded in death by his son, David; daughter, Debra Kleinsmith; parents, Harold and Mary (nee Turoski) Kleinsmith; brothers, Jacky, Gordon; sisters, Carol Brown, Betty Dandrea, Brenda Hasenstab, Louise Breitenbach and Florence Knezeak.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Wednesday at 10AM in the funeral home. Rev. Dr. Ken DeLuca will officiate.
Burial will be at St. Peter’s Cemetery where North Ridgeville Post 9871 will conduct Military Honors.
