Raymond Dunham's Obituary
Raymond C. Dunham, age 82, of North Ridgeville, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2011 at his home, following a long illness.
He was born in Cleveland and had been a lifelong resident of North Ridgeville. Raymond was a graduate of North Ridgeville High School, Class of 1947, he then served in the US Army, stationed in Alaska.
He worked as a millwright for Parker Hannifin in Elyria for many years.
He was a charter member of Shepherd of the Ridge Lutheran Church and former member of North Ridgeville City Council.
He enjoyed gardening, bowling, traveling, crossword puzzles and being with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Arlene (nee Gaydash); daughter, Debra (Stan) Noga of North Ridgeville; sons, Lawrence (Chris) and Mark Dunham all of North Ridgeville; grandchildren, Stephanie Sycz, Caroline Cheon, Melissa Nelson, Sara Dunham; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Geraldine (Robert) Henry of Greenville, SC., Florence "Flossy" Klee of Coral Springs, FL.; brother, Clarence "Butch" (Judy) Dunham of North Ridgeville; sister-in-law, Shirley Dunham of Avon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Florence Dunham; brother, Robert Dunham and sister, Eileen Weber.
Friends may call Sunday from 5-8 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1 PM in the funeral home. Rev. Dale Critchley will officiate.
Burial will be in Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
