Randall A. Smith's Obituary
Randall A. Smith, age 77, of North Ridgeville, passed away Sunday June 19, 2022 at his home following a long illness.
He was born in Berea and had resided in North Ridgeville for the past 18 years.
Randall served in the US Air Force from 1963-1967 during Vietnam, and was a member of VFW Post 3345, Strongsville and C7A Caribou Veteran Association.
He was an electrician with IBEW Local 38 for over 50 years. He enjoyed restoring classic cars, auto racing and was an airplane enthusiast.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years Christine (nee Feagan), daughter, Randa (Dean) Bolton of Phoenix, AZ, son, Robert (Aimee) Smith of Bay Village, stepdaughter, Cheryl (Brian) Myers of Mansfield, stepsons, Mark (Carrie) Podrasky of Akron, Ken (Sarah) Podrasky of Green, grandchildren, Deanna Myers, Scott Myers, Abigail Smith, Carter Smith, Alysson Snider, Dorthia Snider, Skye Myers, Brianna Myers, Jacob Podrasky, Ryan Podrasky, Hanna Podrasky and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Wayne Smith and mother, Lucy Irene Smith.
The family will receive friends Monday, June 27, 2022 from 2-4PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd, N. Ridgeville where services will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 12PM . Rev. David Chafin will officiate. Burial with military honors will take place Tuesday at 2PM at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
