Ralph Roberts' Obituary
Ralph Roberts, age 93, of Westlake, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025, at the Village of the Falls in Olmsted Falls. He was born June 5, 1932, in Lico, West Virginia, and has been a resident of Westlake for the past nineteen years. Ralph served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked as a telephone engineer at AT&T and the former Western Electric finishing his career at the Elyria Telephone Company/Alltel where he worked for over twenty years, retiring in 1992. Ralph had a great love for computers and music, and spent his retirement years reading and fishing. He loved to try new recipes and share them with friends and family.
He is survived by his Wife Barbara Roberts (nee Estep) of Westlake; daughter Lois Roberts; daughter-in-law Terry Roberts; grandchildren Brian Roberts and Jennifer Dean (Michael) and great-granddaughters, Breonna and Aaliyah; brothers Lawrence (Diane Sue) Roberts, Tommy (Judith) Roberts, and Kermit Roberts, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents Grace (nee Meikles) and Cecil Roberts, son Philip Roberts, brothers Richard, Kenneth, Thurmond, Jerry, and sister Phyllis.
A celebration of life will be held at 1pm, Saturday, March 7th, 2026, at the Bogner Life Celebration Center, 7295 Greenlawn Dr., North Ridgeville, OH 44039.
He will be interned in Charleston, West Virginia. Will announce at a later date.
A graveside memorial is planned for later this year in Alum Creek, West Virginia.
