Ralph E. Moomey's Obituary
Ralph “Grandpa” Moomey, age 64, of Elyria, went to Heaven on Monday, November 18, 2013 to take on a truck route for the Lord.
He was born in Cleveland, grew up in North Olmsted and had been a resident of Elyria for over 30 years.
Ralph worked as a truck driver for over 40 years. The past ten years, he had been with Estes Express Lines in North Ridgeville.
He enjoyed listening to country music and fishing.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Ruth (nee Sennhenn); daughters, Tracy (Michael) Victor of Grafton, Melinda Adams of North Ridgeville; grandchildren, Crystal (Greg) Cek, Michael Victor, Steven (Karli) Stiffler, Christopher Tyler (Adrienne) Foote, Chelsie (Josh) Victor, Haley Pongraz, Ethan Reynolds, Jacob Carter; great grandchildren, Jenna Cek, Kiley Stiffler; brothers, Howard Moomey of Valley City and Willard Moomey of Wakeman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Ida Mae (nee Buckley) Moomey and granddaughter, Jennifer Victor.
Friends may call Thursday from 4-8 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville.
Private graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Park.
