Three great memories to share.
First is this last Christmas Eve. What an absolute joy it was to see Ralph's face on my iPad on Face Time. It made our holiday.
Also, back in my toe-headed days of being 7 in the early 70's, Uncle Ralph and Aunt Jean were out to visit us Scarborough's in Southern Cal. I had just got a hamster. Ralph not only convinced Jim and Helen that my hamster needed a mate, but that the cage needed an upgrade. Ralph and I went out to the pet store and bought "Ralph" and a new cage. "Jean and Ralph," my hamsters, lived a good and full life in their 2 story condo cage.
And finally, could have been on the same trip. We all headed down to Tiajuana. What was memorable wasnt necessarily the destination (bullfights?) but the dynamic of Ralph, Jean, Jim, and Helen. Crazy, nutty, and absolutely sweet. I shall post the TJ photo when I get back to my home computer.
I am unable to attend Fridays services, but our thoughts, from everyone here in the Scarborough household, are with everybody.
Cheers,
