Ralph Gardner's Obituary
Ralph L. Gardner, age 72, of Elyria, died Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Life Care Center, Elyria. Ralph was born March 6, 1940 in Pennsylvania. He married Carol (nee Sutphin) on October 20, 2000 and she lovingly survives.
Other survivors include his sons, John (Ann) Gardner of Cleveland and John Gardner of Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; step son, Troy Yates of Elyria; step daughter, Leageana Jenkins of Seville; son-in-law, Thomas Boyle; brothers, Louis, Melvin, and Carl Gardner; sisters, Margaret and Thelma; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Veanna Boyle.
Ralph retired in 2007 from Ford Motor Company. In his free time, he enjoyed meeting with friends for breakfast and was an avid sports fan. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, where funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 8, 2012. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
