Ralph W Burson Sr's Obituary
Ralph W. Burson Sr., age 78, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake.
He was born in Lisbon, OH and had been a resident in California for 35 years, then retired to North Carolina, before returning to Ohio in 2001.
Ralph worked as a Lead Engineer for Kaiser Permanente for 24 years until his retirement in 1992.
He loved to ride his motorcycle, hunt, and fish in bass tournaments, snow ski and square dance. Ralph was a former Exalted Ruler of the Van Nuys, CA Elks Club and a 32° Mason.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Burson of North Ridgeville; son, Ralph Burson Jr. of Kearns, UT; daughters, Lois Barber and Diana Manis both of Salem OH; step-daughter, Julie Franklin of North Ridgeville; brothers, James Burson of Lincoln, CA, Roy Burson of Henderson, NV and Michael Burson of Wheatland, CA; sisters, Jane Burns of Black Mountain, NC and Mary Miller of Canfield,OH; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph O. and Lois Burson and son, Scott Burson.
No services will be held at this time.
