Phyllis Harstine's Obituary
Phyllis M. Harstine (nee Casper), age 60, of North Ridgeville, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at her home, following a sudden illness.
She was born in Canton and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1987 moving from Sherrodsville.
She was the owner and operator of Phyllis' Cottage Coiffure in Sherrodsville. She then went on to work at LeHoty's Hallmark in North Ridgeville from 1990-2002.
Phyllis was a member of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church in North Ridgeville, where she was active with the choir.
She was also a member of the Sherrodsville, Ohio State and National Grange.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Edwin; sons, Thomas of Elyria, 1SG Jeffrey (Jodi) serving in Afghanistan, Philip of Brunswick; daughter, Jennifer (Carl) Naulty of North Olmsted; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Tyler, Myah, T. Lane, Emily and Lillian Harstine, Norah Naulty; brothers, T. Kevin (Barbara) Casper of Florence, South Carolina, Christopher Casper of Malvern; 3 nieces and 3 nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, T. Marvin and Esther (nee Knudsen) Casper.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held on Monday at 9:30 AM followed by a 10 AM Mass at St. Julie Church, 5500 Lear Nagle Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev. Dr. Richard Gonser, Pastor, will be the celebrant.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Julie Billiart Church.
