Phillip Alan "Moss" Moss' Obituary
Phillip Alan Moss, affectionately called “Moss”, age 38, of Elyria, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at the MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.
He was born on July 14, 1980, in Cleveland and has been a resident of Elyria for the past 2 years, moving from North Ridgeville.
He was a member of Journey Church in Avon and worked as a salesman for Green Healthy Wellness.
He loved the Cleveland Browns, and also enjoyed golf.
He was a huge fan of all things Marvel and comics related, owning a vast assortment of memorabilia and tee shirts. "Moss" never met a stranger and loved talking to and spending time with family and friends. "Moss" loved God, and the love of his life, his wife Jen.
He is survived by his wife Jennifer (nee Casey); children Cameron and Natalie Moss, Desia Wise and Summer and Austin Casey; granddaughter Paislee Hart; mother Violet Joy Moss; mother and father in law Debra and Theron Holloway; brother-in-law Jason Casey; many nieces, nephews, uncles and cousins.
Moss was preceded in death by his grandfather Nathaniel Gachette Moss, Sr., whom he called "Daddy”; grandmother Violet C. Moss "Nana"; brother in law Jeremy Casey; aunt Karen Moss.
Funeral Services Saturday at 4:00 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, where family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Pastor Peter Kerlin will officiate.
