Peter Bell's Obituary
Peter C. Bell, age 83, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012 at his home in Elyria. He was born in Scotland and had been a resident of Elyria for the past 65 years.
Peter served in the Army in Great Britain.
He worked as a supervisor for Air Canada until he retired in 1984.
He took great pride in his yard and enjoyed traveling with his family. He also enjoyed watching soccer.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagle and Pionairs Retiree Group with Air Canada.
Survivors include his sons, Peter (Mary Alice) Bell of Wadsworth, George Bell of North Olmsted, John (Kim) Bell of Syracuse, NY; daughter, Margaret (Tom) Rishel of Elyria; grandchildren, Christopher of Elyria, Makenzie and Peter both of Wadsworth, Katlyne of Elyria, Jodi and Christina of Syracuse; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Keagan and Megan all of Elyria; brothers, Bobby of Australia, Johnny and David both of Scotland; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Bell in 2006; parents, Peter and Sarah Bell; brothers, Willie and Tom; sisters, Marian and Margaret.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held on Monday at 9:30 AM followed by a 10:00 AM Mass at St. Jude Catholic Church, 590 Poplar St., Elyria. Rev. Frank Kosem, Pastor, will be the celebrant.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
