Dear Akers Family,
We are so very sad to hear of the loss of this wonderful woman. What an absolutely amazing person she was and will always be.
We all remember the first time we met her, her husband, and her beautiful daughters at St. Mary School. She greeted us with a huge smile and a warm hello. We have many happy memories of Peggy. She will be missed by all of us.
May our dear Lord bring you all His love, mercy, and peace during this difficult time, and if any of you need anything, we are here for you.

I met Peggy at Eastgate Elementary in the 6th grade. Mrs. Sprague was our teacher. I still remember how i was laughing at her about something one day and could not stop and she told on me and i got in trouble. Such good memories of a dear friend. I saw Peggy at our 10 year class reunion and she greeted me with such a big smile and a warm hello. So sorry to hear of her death. I lived on Concord Avenue very close to Boston Avenue where Peggy lived. Me, her, and Patty Cottrell used to hang out together. Again, so sorry and my thoughts and prayers are with Peggy's family.
I feel so blessed to have been a part of this family. Pegg and Mel were such great people to be around. She always had an upbeat attitude, no nonsense as well. She was one of the strongest people I know. Pegg has done so much for our family and has been such a blessing to us. Mel was so supportive of her and the girls. You will be missed so much Pegg, Mel & Pegg raised 3 wonderful girls and I'm sure Pegg left daddy in their wonderful care. We are here girls should you need us for anything. Sending all our love and hope that your journey throught the months and year ahead is a gentle one. Hold tight to our heavenly fathers hand and you will do just fine. Stay strong for mom! When I started in the patient accounts department at EMH, Peggy took me under her wing and thought me everything I need to know. She was a wonderful lady who always went above and beyond to help you out. She had a laugh that lite up the entire department. She always had a story for break time and you never missed break cause you didn't want to miss it. She cherished her family and her granddaughter were her life..
Pegitha you will be truly missed but never forgotten.

My thoughts and prayers are with Peggy's family at this time. She always had a positive outlook on things, no matter how the situation seemed. She was strong & bright. The support of her family meant everything to her, and I'm glad to have met Peggy the few times that I did.
I feel sorrow for Peggy's family. My prayers and love go out to each of you. I know how close Peggy was to her family and how much she deeply loved them all, her family was everything to her and to them as well. I know the family is feeling such a deep loss. I worked with Peggy for many years at EMH in Patient Accounting. I will always remember her contagious laughter, she loved to laugh, and she truly made us laugh. Jeannie reminded me today of her sneeze, you know the ones that are so hard, they scare you and make you laugh at the same time. Peggy was so giving and thoughtful. She was great at her job, she knew it really well and felt a lot of compassion for the patient's. I will deeply miss Peggy, she was a joy and I'm so glad she was my friend!
I knew Peggy many years ago. She was my very first childhood friend. I'll always remember Boston Ave. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
