Pearly Sue Allen's Obituary
Pearly Sue Allen (nee Newton), age 77, of Wakeman, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014 at her home, following a long illness.
She was born in Tishomingo, Mississippi and had been a resident of Wakeman for the past 10 years moving from LaGrange and formerly North Ridgeville.
Pearly Sue enjoyed reading, especially books by James Patterson, loved shopping and animals. She had a real green thumb for growing flowers. She also loved to sew and made beautiful quilts.
Survivors include her children, Nellie (Bud) Gisbrecht of Wakeman, Patricia (Joe) Parker of Hilton Heads, SC, Juanita (Willie) King of Wakeman; Victor (Jennifer) Allen of Stow, Joseph Allen of Wakeman; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; daughter-in-law, Lisa; siblings, Wayne, Jane, Delane, Billy Jack, Polly and Virginia; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Fred R. in 2000; son, John; parents, Laron and Ethel Newton; brother, Jerry.
Friends may call on Thursday from 1:00PM until the time of services at 2:00PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Pearly Sue’s son Victor Allen will officiate.
Burial will be in River Road Cemetery, LaGrange Twp.
