Pauline F. Wallace's Obituary
Pauline F. Wallace, age 92, of Elyria, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2015 at her daughter’s home.
She was born in Fresno, Ohio and had been a resident of Elyria since 2003 moving from North Ridgeville, where she lived for over 50 years.
Pauline worked as a secretary for North Ridgeville High School before going to Lake Ridge Academy, where she retired from.
She was an active member of Washington Avenue Christian Church in Elyria for many years, the Elyria Senior Womens Fellowship, Church Women United and the Lively Avon Lakers.
She enjoyed camping, bike riding, and needle point.
Survivors include her daughter, Fauna Griffiths of Elyria; grandchildren, Emily (Andrew) Miller, Christina (Jeffrey) Williams, Nicole Glenn; great-grandchildren, Monica, Abby and Joshua Jenkins, Madison and Zachary Williams, Nicholas D’Ambrosio and Anders Miller.
She was preceded in death by husband, Warren J. Wallace; son, Lynn A. Wallace; parents, Allen Murphey and Lillian Firster; half-sister, Gleneva Geese.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville on Sunday, October 4 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Memorial Service Monday, October 5 at 11:00 a.m. at the Washington Avenue Christian Church, 301 Washington Avenue, Elyria, Ohio 44035 (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Rev. Dr. Janet Long will officiate.
Private interment will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
