Paul Paloney's Obituary
Paul Paloney Jr., age 95, of Olmsted Falls, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at St. John Medical Center in Westlake.
He was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of Olmsted Falls for the past 15 years, moving from North Olmsted where he lived for most of his life.
Paul served in the US Army during WWII and was a life member of VFW Post 9871, North Ridgeville where he loved visiting his friends.
He worked for Sherwin Williams in North Olmsted as a color card processor retiring after 40 years.
Paul enjoyed traveling, going to casinos with his grandchildren, playing the lottery and loved watching the Cleveland Indians.
Survivors include his daughter, Linda (Mike) Munger of North Ridgeville, grandchildren, Brian Winners, Eric Winners, Nicole (Brian) Stout, great-grandchildren, Jacob, Reese and Riley Stout and his sister, Irene Petrensick of Cleveland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Dora (nee Butsko) Paloney, brothers, Wallace, Ernest and Elmer Paloney.
Private visitation and services will be held followed by a burial at Elmhurst Park Cemetery with full military honors by VFW Post 9871. The family will receive friends for a celebration of Paul’s life at 1:30 PM Tuesday January 28, 2025 at VFW Post 9871, North Ridgeville.
