Paul Neumayer's Obituary
Paul K. Neumayer, age 72, of Parma, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012 at Seasons of Life Hospice Residential Center in Parma.
He was born in Munich, Germany moving to the US in 1958.
Mr. Neumayer served in US Army 1962-1965.
He worked as a tool and die maker, retiring from General Motors in 2008 after 33 years of service. Paul was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Cleveland along with UAW Local 1005. He enjoyed life to the fullest, loved going to the beach, fishing, sailing, and traveling. He also played soccer for German Central for over 20 years.
Survivors include his wife Patricia; sons, Paul Jr. of Charleston, SC and Peter of Parma; grandchildren, Ashley Kaskevic, Austin Gellner-Neumayer and Cory Neumayer; brothers, Peter Neumayer of Brooklyn and Dieter DeWitte of Munich, Germany.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Elisabeth Neumayer.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville, and from 10 AM until 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at St. Ignatius Church, 10205 Lorain Ave., Cleveland. Interment will be 11:30 AM Friday in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman. Memorials are suggested to Seasons of Life Hospice, 9511 W. Pleasant Valley Rd., Parma, Ohio 44130.
