Paul A. Natemeier's Obituary
Paul A. Natemeier, age 78, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at the Northridge Health Center in North Ridgeville after a short battle with cancer.
He was born on February 4, 1946 in Cleveland and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 48 years, moving from Fairview Park. He also attended Ohio University. Paul was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and went on to work as an Industrial Salesman for Ohio CAT, retiring in 2013 after 30 years of service. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Westlake.
Paul always liked to keep in shape and enjoyed running and working out with free weights. He was also an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. He was always friendly, and treated people like family.
He is survived by his wife Shirley (nee Miller); daughter Kimberly (Mark Rubin) Natemeier of West Park; son David (Shannon Smith) Natemeier of North Ridgeville; step granddaughters Sierra and Stella; sister Carole Johns; nephews James, Barret and Steven Gorman.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents LaVerne Ruth (nee Huge) and Paul Franklin Natemeier; brothers-in-law Robert Johns and James Gorman.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, on Tuesday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Service Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Rev. Jeff Smith will officiate. Interment with Full Military Honors will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
