Paul H. Murmann's Obituary
Paul H. Murmann, age 76, of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2020 at the Southwest Hospice in Strongsville after a lengthy illness.
He was born on March 22, 1944 in Cleveland and has been an area resident there ever since, living in the West Park neighborhood for the past 13 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and also worked as a facilities manager at HKM Direct Marketing Communications, retiring in 2010 after 23 years of service. He was also an independent HVAC contractor for over 30 years.
Paul was an all-around craftsman & handyman who enjoyed working with his hands, he also enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians with his wife, watching the birds at his feeder, but found his greatest joy in spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Betty (nee Howard); children Scott Murmann and Kristen Murmann-McGrady; stepchildren John Michael Spears, James Joseph (Kelly) Nagorka and Nathan W. Nagorka; granddaughters Nicole E. and Elizabeth M. Spears, Olivia Nagorka; sister Johanna (David Ineman) Lepley; many nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Ethel (nee Whipple) Murmann; stepmother Ann Murmann.
Funeral Services Monday, July 27 at 12:00 p.m. at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, where family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Rev. Dr. Tom Joyce will officiate. Interment with Full Military Honors will be in Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
