Patrick J. Campbell's Obituary
Patrick J. “Paddy” Campbell, age 80, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake.
Born in Cleveland, he was a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 43 years.
Patrick served in the US Navy
He worked as a machinist for Eaton Corp and was a hard worker up to his retirement in 2003.
He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville where he was active with the Knights of Columbus and the St. Peter’s Golf League for 43 years. He enjoyed being Papa to 3 granddaughters, taking care of his yard and loved the ocean and taking trips to Myrtle Beach.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Sharon (nee Garsteck), daughter, Veronica Starett of Elyria, son, Robert Campbell of Elyria, grandson, Robert (Leah) Campbell of Strongsville, granddaughters Kailynn, Ava and Brooklyn, sister, Mary Roth of Parma, many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elsie (nee Brown) Campbell, sister, Lee Davies, brothers, Joe and Thad Campbell.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of a 12:30 p.m. prayer service preceding a 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd. N. Ridgeville. Rev. Bob Franco will officiate. Due to Covid-19, wearing of masks and social distancing will be required.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Friendship APL, 8303 Murray Ridge Rd, Elyria, OH 44035.
