Patricia A. McLeary's Obituary
Patricia A. McLeary (nee Borucki), age 79, of Lorain, formerly of Grafton, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021, at her home following a courageous battle with Amyloidosis. She was born in Cleveland and resided in North Ridgeville and Grafton before recently moving to Lorain. She was a member of St. Peter’s Church, North Ridgeville, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. A registered Nurse, she graduated from St. Vincent Charity Nursing School. Most recently working for Anthem Blue Cross/ Blue Shield before retiring in 2007. She enjoyed reading, journaling, and shopping for hours. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She had a witty sense of humor, and strength beyond measure.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Thomas P., son, Tom (Judy) of New Harmony, UT daughter, Katy (Mike) Bruewer of Amherst, grandchildren: Samantha, Shane, Emma and Grace, sister, Barbara Ristau of Maple Heights, brothers, John of Brunswick and David (Terri) Borucki of Parma. She was preceded in death by her parents John S. and Frances J. (nee Skarupski) Borucki and her brother-in-law David Ristau.
Due to COVID restrictions, a Private Mass of Christian Burial will be held, and Live Streamed on St. Peter’s Catholic Church, North Ridgeville Facebook Page 10 AM Friday. Rev. Bob Franco will be the celebrant.
Private interment will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.
