Patricia Lee Hurst's Obituary
Patricia Lee Hurst (nee Teaford), age 65, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Monday, February 29, 2016 at her home following a 35 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
She was born in Muskegon, Michigan and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1999, moving from Kalamazoo.
She was a member of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church in North Ridgeville, where she was active in many ministries including the Cursillo #138.
Patricia was a very creative and artistic person. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, macramé, needlework, weaving baskets, drawing and painting. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Edward; children, Edward (Mary Alice) Hurst Jr. of Westland, Michigan, John (Susan) Hurst of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Christopher (Jody) Hurst of Lawton, Michigan, Amy Hurst of Ann Arbor, Michigan; 7 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Susan (Jim) Perrault and Barbara Deaton both of Muskegon, Michigan; brother, Michael (Linda) Teaford of Grand Haven, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and L. Jean (nee Locken) Teaford.
Friends may call Friday from 5-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. A prayer service will be held on Saturday at 9:30AM in the funeral home, followed by a 10AM Mass at St. Julie’s Church, 5500, N. Lear Nagle Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev. George Vrabel, Pastor, will be the celebrant.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 1PM at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Muskegon, Michigan.
