I have such fond memories of "Mrs. Houser"! She was usually smiling and laughing! She was fun to be with! She would make funny comments about things under her breath. Her comments and candor would make me laugh.
I remember her being energetic and full of life. One day (many years ago) she pulled up in her red convertible and gave our kids a ride. :) They were so excited!! She was smiling and laughing. Our kids were amazed that she had such a "cool" car.
I also remember how much she enjoyed directing and singing with the choir at Shepherd of the Ridge Church.
It's sad that she is no longer with us. What a loss for us. I know that she had deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ. This softens the sadness a bit because I can't imagine anything better than being in heaven, in the presence of God- and that's where she is now (probably laughing and smiling!)
My thoughts are with her family. I am so sorry for your loss.
