Patricia R. Hastwell's Obituary
Patricia R. Hastwell (nee Michaels), age 90, of Elyria, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at her home surrounded by family.
She was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of Elyria since 2004. She previously lived in Strongsville for 28 years and Olmsted Falls.
Patricia worked as a secretary for American Airlines in Cleveland for 14 years, retiring in 1991.
She was a member of Olmsted Community Church in Olmsted Falls, where she enjoyed her bible study group.
She was past president of Berea Business and Women’s Professional Association and enjoyed her grandchildren, traveling, reading and American Airlines Retiree Group.
Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Burkhardt of Elyria, son, Jeffrey (Cheryl) Hastwell of North Royalton, grandchildren, Jeffrey (Brittany) Hastwell, Kevin (Brittany Rasmussen) and Anna Hastwell, great-grandchildren, Maria and Leo Hastwell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, brother, James Michaels, parents, Steven and Ruth (nee Gauch) Michaels and son-in-law, Walter “Sonny” Burkhardt.
Friends may call Tuesday, August 5, 2025 from 11AM until the time of service at 12PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Pastor Steven Gower will officiate.
Burial will be private at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, OH.
