Patricia A. "Pat" Chikik's Obituary
Patricia A. “Pat” Chikik, (nee Steyer), age 81, of North Ridgeville, passed away Saturday June 29, 2019 at Avon Oaks Nursing Home.
She was born in Cleveland. She grew up in Parma where she lived most of her life until moving to North Ridgeville in 2005.
Pat was a supervisor of housekeeping at Broadview MultiCare, retiring in 1999 after 20 years of service.
She enjoyed bowling, crafts, flowering gardening and arranging, cooking and was a wonderful home maker. She also enjoyed getting together with her 1955 Parma High School classmates.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Robert E., two sons Robert (Laura) Jr. of Parma and Curt (Tammy) Chikik of North Royalton, two daughters Pam (Brian) Kelly of Avon and Tracy Lucille Scott of North Ridgeville, eight grandchildren, two great grandsons, and her sister Alice Jordak of Port Orange Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frederick and Pearl Steyer, brother Chuckie and sister Kathleen Steyer.
A memorial service will be held 6 PM Wednesday July 3, 2019 at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd. N. Ridgeville where the family will receive friends from 4-6 PM. Memorial contributions are suggested to Cypress Hospice, 2 Berea Commons #1, Berea, OH 44017. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Avon Oaks and Cypress Hospice for the loving care given to Patricia.
